When i used to be a credit officer other credit officers from other MFIs tried all means to get my groups from me.I used to wonder why they could not go out and form groups of their own.I knew the area i worked had many unreached clients but it was hard work to form the groups and train them and that was the reason other MFIs officers wanted the groups.Because of this some of my clients started borrowing from the other MFIs and the issue of some members having many loans affected myself and other credit officers.MFIs should devote funds to train solidarity groups about this danger and also credit officers need to go out and reach out to solidarity groups that are new in microfinance.

I think this is a good way of networking towards bridging a gap in our different ways due to the fact that the micro-finance challenges in various geographic areas are diverse. I am optimistic this forum shall allow us have a common interface of sharing these challenges.
